While the CAT is the most popular management entrance exam, applicants can also take a variety of other entrance examinations.
The Common Admission Test (CAT) is one of the most popular and well-known MBA entrance exams, with almost 90% of top-tier institutions throughout the country accepting it.
The test, on the other hand, has its own features and is well-known among management candidates for its difficulty level.
While the CAT, which is administered by IIMs, serves as a gateway to IIMs, FMS, and MDI, there are other top MBA admission examinations that offer doors to top MBA institutions like XLRI, XIMB, NMIMS, IIFT, and others.

XAT 2022
The Xavier Aptitude Exam is conducted by the Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI) in Jamshedpur.
The XAT is a computer-based assessment. Every year, about 1 lakh students take the XAT exam.
XAT results are accepted by approximately 160 institutions, including XLRI, IMT, XIMB, TAPMI, and others.
Registration for the XAT 2022 test is open until November 30th, and the exam will be held on January 2nd.
IIFT MBA IB Entrance Test 2022
On behalf of the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade in Delhi, the National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the IIFT entrance exam.
The IIFT exams is unique to each college, with locations in Delhi, Kolkata, and Kakinada. The MBA (International Business) is IIFT’s flagship programme.
Candidates can apply through iift.nta.nic.in for the IIFT, which is now accepting applications.
CMAT 2022
Every year, over 1.5 lakh individuals take the Common Management Admission Test, or CMAT, which is the most popular among MBA applicants.
The NTA is also in charge of the CMAT test. All AICTE-approved institutes/colleges recognise the CMAT score, including BIMS, SIMSREE, K J Somaiya Mumbai, Welingkar Mumbai, PUMBA Pune, Great Lakes Chennai, and BIMTECH Greater Noida, among others. The CMAT test is scheduled for February 22, 2022.

SNAP 2021
Every year, Symbiosis International University (SIU) in Pune conducts the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test, often known as SNAP, as a computer-based test.
This year, 15 SIU institutes will accept the SNAP 2021 score. SIBM (Pune), SICSR, SIMC Pune, SIIB, SCMHRD, and others are among these institutions.
The deadline to submit an application for SNAP 2021 is November 27, and the exam will be held on December 19, 2021, January 08, and January 16, 2022.
MAT 2021/2022
AIMA administers the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) to over 600 B-schools throughout the country for admission to MBA/PGDM programmes.
When compared to the other MBA admission exams, the MAT exam is on the easier side. In the months of February, May, September, and December, the MAT exam is given four times a year.
Since the covid pandemic, the exam has included an internet-based test (IBT) mode in addition to paper-based and computer-based options.
The MAT December dates will be released soon, and they will be valid for admission to the academic batch 2022-24.
