CBSE offline exam: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a notification listing students who are eligible to take the Class 10, Class 12 optional, and compartment examinations in August-September in an offline format.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a notification listing pupils who are eligible to sit for the offline Class 10, Class 12 optional, and compartment examinations, which will be held in August-September. Date sheets for these exams, as well as exam dates for private and patrachar candidates, have been announced by the board. Optional tests are available to candidates whose results have been certified “Pass” but who are unhappy with the evaluation and want to improve their marks. If they take the written exam, however, the results will be regarded as final.
Those who failed to fulfil the qualifying criteria in one or two subjects and were put in the compartment category are eligible to sit the compartment test.
Regular students can take the improvement test if their results cannot be calculated using the assessment policy (non-computable cases).
Students who are classified as “6th subject cases,” or those who have passed all six subjects but have failed one of the five core topics, are also eligible to sit the exam.
The CBSE has also issued a separate notice for private students, listing those who are eligible to take the upcoming exams.
On August 25, CBSE Class 10 and 12 improvement, compartment, private, and patrachar exams will begin. Class 10 examinations will be held until September 8th, while Class 12 exams will be held until September 15th.
Most Class 10 exams will last three hours, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. For two hours, subjects including information technology and computer applications will be taught.
From 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., all Class 12 papers will be held for three hours.
