NEET UG 2021: Deadline To Submit Challenge 9 pm Today

Before 9 p.m. on October 17, challenge the official NEET UG 2021 answer key; the final result will be prepared and announced using the revised final answer keys.

Candidates who want to contest the provisional answer key and recorded response of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG, 2021 must do so by 9 p.m. today. On October 15, the National Testing Agency (NTA) published the official answer keys and recorded responses for NEET UG 2021 at neet.nta.nic.in. On October 15, a window for challenging provisional answer keys and recorded responses, as well as scanned images of NEET (UG) 2021 OMR answer sheets, was opened.

The National Testing Agency has posted the provisional answer keys and recorded responses, as well as the OMR answer sheets, for interested candidates to challenge on the official website https://neet.nta.nic.in/. Candidates who objected to the official answer key were given the option to submit their challenge by paying a processing fee, according to NTA guidelines. The NTA also emailed the scanned image of the OMR answer sheet to the candidates’ registered e-mail addresses at the time of submitting the NEET (UG) 2021 online application form.

Candidates must pay a processing fee of Rs 1000 per question challenged to challenge the provisional answer key, and candidates who want to challenge the OMR answer sheet grading and recorded response must pay a fee of Rs 200 per question/grade challenged. Interested candidates can pay the processing fee using a debit, credit, or net banking card until 9 p.m. today. The challenge will not be accepted unless the processing fee is paid online. The challenges will only be accepted through an online mode, according to the NTA notice.

The candidates’ challenges will be verified by a panel of subject experts, and if found correct, the answer key will be updated accordingly. Following the challenge, the experts will finalise the key. On the basis of the revised final answer keys, the result will be prepared and announced. The NTA will not notify or update candidates about their challenge’s acceptance or rejection.

Procedure for challenge of answer key

  • Go to the official NTA website neet.nta.nic.in
  • Click on ‘Apply for Answer Key Challenge’
  • Select the test booklet code.
  • Login with your application number
  • Select the question numbers and click on submit
  • Choose the answer that you believe is correct
  • Click on “Confirm”
  • Pay the objection filing fee which is Rs 1000 for every challenged answer, after payment, download/print the Answer Key challenge receipt

Procedure for challenge of OMR answer sheet grading and recorded responses

  • Go to the official website neet.nta.nic.in.
  • Login with your application number
  • Select the “OMR Challenge” in the left pane and click on the link
  • Select Question(s) for which you wish to challenge the recorded response
  • select any question you wish to challenge and submit the option you think is correct
  • Pay a processing fee of Rs 200 for each question/grade challenged
  • After payment, download/print the answer key challenge receipt

Every year, the NEET UG examination is held for admission to medical, dental, BSc nursing, veterinary, and AYUSH programmes. The exam was held in pen and paper format on September 12 in 202 cities and 3858 centres across the country and abroad.
