NEW DELHI: The Kolkata Metro Rail Authority has decided to conduct special metro services for WBCS prelims test candidates on Sunday. On August 22, 2021, the West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) will hold the West Bengal Civil Service (Exe) (Preliminary) Examination 2021. (Sunday). This decision was made to ensure that students taking the WBCS prelims test in 2021 have a pleasant and trouble-free journey. Officials in charge of the test have posted a notification on their official website, wbpsc.gov.in, indicating the same.
Candidates can use Kolkata Metro Rail’s special services starting at 10 a.m. To board the metro train, they will need to show their WBCS admission card as well as their smart card. Due to a technical issue, the WBCS admission card was delayed. WBPSC has published the amended test dates for the West Bengal Civil Services (WBCS) prelims, as well as the prelims and mains exam dates for the West Bengal Audit & Accounts Service and WBCS Mains 2020. On August 27, 28, 29, and 31, 2021, the WBCS Main Exam 2020 will be held.
Previously, the WBCS 2021 prelims were set to take place on May 30, with the WBCS Mains 2020 taking place from May 17 to 21. However, owing to the coronavirus epidemic and Bengal assembly elections, both exams were postponed. What is the WBCS examination? The WBPSC administers the state civil service test to fill numerous positions in the administrative, revenue, police, and other agencies. The positions are Grade 1 and 2 gazetted officials.
There are three stages to the WBCS exam: preliminary, mains, and interview/personality test. The prelims are held in an offline OMR-sheet based format, the mains are held in an offline and descriptive format, and the personality test is held in a one-on-one interview format.
