Navjot Kaur’s Battle with Cancer

Speaking during a press conference, Navjot Singh Sidhu revealed that his wife faced a daunting 3% chance of survival when diagnosed with stage 4 cancer nearly two years ago. Sidhu shared his relief and gratitude for her recovery:
“Around 1.5-2 years ago, Noni (Navjot Kaur Sidhu) was detected with cancer. She struggled and ran from pillar to post. She and I and everyone believed that we were wrong. I, however, got to know about it only after the operation was conducted. Today, I am glad to announce that Noni has been declared clinically cancer-free.”

Key to Recovery: Discipline and Routine

Sidhu credited his wife’s recovery not to wealth but to her unwavering discipline and commitment to a strict routine. He emphasized that cancer treatment is accessible:
“She defeated cancer not because we had money but because she was disciplined and followed a strict routine. Cancer can be treated effectively even at government hospitals.”

Sidhu’s Journey on The Kapil Sharma Show

Aside from sharing the joyous news about his wife, Navjot Singh Sidhu reflected on his time on The Kapil Sharma Show. Sidhu, who was a prominent figure on the popular talk show until his exit in 2019, recently returned as a guest on Netflix’s The Great Indian Kapil Show, where he enjoyed revisiting his iconic chair.

Addressing His Exit

During an interview with The Grain Talk Show on YouTube, Sidhu spoke about his departure from the original show:
“There were political reasons I don’t want to talk about. There were other reasons… and the bouquet fell apart.”

Praise for Kapil Sharma

Sidhu had high praise for Kapil Sharma, calling him a genius:
“The Kapil Sharma Show was a bouquet made by God. No one can take credit for it. It had different fragrances. When Kapil came to me, those days I had just come out of Bigg Boss, so we discussed and everything fell in place. Everyone was chosen to be a part of that show.”

He also recalled supporting Kapil during tough times:
“When Kapil was not well, people told me he is over. I said, ‘guys, he’s a 20. If you can even find someone who is a 10 and make him stand in front of Kapil, I will listen. But right now, even a 5 doesn’t exist. You don’t have a genius like him. Talent does what it can do; genius does what he must do.'”
