BSEB Class 10 Board Exams 2025: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has officially released the datesheet for the Class 10 board exams for 2025. Students preparing for their matriculation exams can access the detailed schedule on the BSEB’s official websites: biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in and bsebmatric.org.
Exam Dates and Practical Schedule
According to the datesheet, the Class 10 board exams will take place from February 17 to February 25, 2025. Before the theory exams, practical examinations have been scheduled from January 10 to January 20, 2025. These exams will help assess students’ practical knowledge and skills.
Key Dates for BSEB 2025
- BSEB 10th Admit Card Availability: January 8 to January 15, 2025
- BSEB 12th Admit Card Availability: January 21 to January 31, 2025
For reference, the 2024 matriculation exams were conducted between February 14 and February 23 in two shifts—morning (9:00 AM to 12:45 PM) and afternoon.
Revised Rewards for Top Performers
To motivate students and celebrate academic excellence, the BSEB has announced an increase in cash rewards for top-ranking students in both Intermediate and Matriculation exams starting in 2025.
Revised Cash Prizes
- First Rank: ₹2 lakh (previously ₹1 lakh)
- Second Rank: ₹1.5 lakh (previously ₹75,000)
- Third Rank: ₹1 lakh (previously ₹50,000)
- Fourth to Tenth Rank (Matriculation): ₹20,000 (previously ₹10,000)
- Fourth and Fifth Rank (Intermediate): ₹30,000 each (previously ₹15,000)
In addition to these financial rewards, all awardees will continue to receive a laptop, certificate, and medal, ensuring that their efforts are recognized and celebrated.
Enhanced Scholarship Programme
The BSEB has further upgraded its “Bihar School Examination Board Deshratna Dr. Rajendra Prasad Medha Scholarship” programme to support meritorious students in their academic journey.
Key Features of the Enhanced Scholarship
- Higher Monthly Scholarship Amount: The top 10 rank holders in the Annual Secondary Examination will now receive a monthly scholarship of ₹2,000, increased from ₹1,200.
- Duration of Scholarship: Eligible students will receive this scholarship for two years while pursuing classes 11 and 12 in schools recognized by state or central government authorities.
- Support for Technical Diploma Students: Students enrolling in technical diploma programs will also receive ₹2,000 per month, continuing until they complete their course.
