The recruitment drive is aimed at filling 33 scientist positions, distributed as follows:
- Unreserved (UR): 14
- Other Backward Classes (OBC): 08

- Scheduled Tribes (ST): 02
- Economically Weaker Sections (EWS): 03
Out of these positions, 02 posts are reserved for candidates under the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWBD) category, specifically for Orthopedically Handicapped (OH) or those with multiple disabilities.
Age Limit
The maximum age for applicants is 32 years.
Salary
Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of ₹1,09,089, which includes House Rent Allowance (HRA). However, if residential accommodation is provided by CSIR-CEERI, the HRA will not be applicable, as per institutional rules. The total emoluments are calculated based on the minimum salary scale effective from July 1, 2024.
