DNB Post Diploma Counselling
Applicants must report to the allotted institute on or before December 12, 2024.

DNB Post Diploma Counselling: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the results for the first round of counselling for admission to the DNB Post Diploma Courses for the 2024 admission session. Candidates who participated in the counselling process can now check their results on the official NBEMS website at https://counseling.nbe.edu.in.

Steps to Join the Allotted Seat

Candidates who have been allotted a seat must accept and freeze their seat to confirm their admission. This process involves paying a non-refundable first-year course fee of ₹1,25,000. Once the fee is paid, the allotted seat will be officially frozen in the candidate’s favor.

Implications of Seat Freezing

Freezing the seat carries important implications. Candidates who freeze their seat and pay the required fee during Round 1 of counselling will be ineligible to participate in the Mop-up Round, should it be conducted by NBEMS.

After freezing the seat, candidates must download their seat allotment letter from the official NBEMS website.

Reporting to the Allotted Institute

To complete the admission process, candidates are required to report in person to their allotted institute with the necessary original documents. This must be done on or before December 12, 2024.

Failure to report by the specified deadline will result in the candidate losing their allotted seat. Additionally, candidates who opt to freeze their seat but fail to pay the first-year course fee by December 12, 2024, will forfeit their seat but may still be eligible to participate in the Second Round of counselling.

Important Guidelines for Candidates

NBEMS has issued a detailed notification highlighting the consequences of failing to meet the required criteria:

  • Candidates who fail to join the institute after paying the first-year course fee or cannot produce the necessary original documents for verification will lose their admission.
  • Failure to fulfill eligibility requirements during document verification will also lead to the forfeiture of the allotted seat and the fees paid.
  • Such candidates will be barred from participating in any further rounds of counselling.
