Anna University college reopening: Anna University in Tamil Nadu will resume on September 1 for all undergraduate and postgraduate students.

NEW DELHI: Anna University has chosen to reopen colleges and institutions for art, science, technology, engineering, and agriculture on September 1 in accordance with instructions provided by the Tamil Nadu government. Undergraduate and postgraduate students would be able to return to the colleges.

Offline classes for engineering, technology, and architecture students will resume on September 1 as instructed by the Vice Chancellor.. Classes will be offered on alternating days, and institutions will not be able to have more than 50% of their students on campus at any given time. Hostels can also work if COVID-19 protocols are followed.

All deans and principals of linked, regional, and constituent colleges and universities have been asked to begin classes on September 1 and follow the regular operating process (SOP). According to the official notification for resuming offline classes on campus, universities must adhere to the following schedule.

Anna University Reopening News: Colleges reopening as per SOP Guidelines

“Except in confinement zones, all colleges and institutions will be authorised to offer classes on a rotation basis across the state beginning January 1, 2021, by following standard operating procedures,” according to the announcement. The SOP, according to the notification, lays out general criteria for restarting colleges. “According to the paper, “this SOP covers various generic preventative actions to be taken, as well as specific precautions to be taken while reopening all higher educational institutions, colleges, and hostels to avoid the spread of COVID-19.”The institutes must also adhere to COVID-19-related recommendations published by the ministries of home affairs and health and family welfare.
