CBSE Boards 2025: Online Portal Opens for Facilities for CWSN StudentsThe Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a notification regarding facilities for Children with Special Needs (CWSN) students appearing in the Class 10 and 12 board exams 2025. These facilities aim to ensure a smooth and inclusive examination process. Schools are required to request these accommodations through CBSE’s online portal within the specified timeline.

Facilities for CWSN Students

CBSE offers a range of facilities and exemptions for CWSN students based on their specific disabilities. These accommodations help create an equitable environment during examinations, ensuring that every student can perform to the best of their abilities without undue stress or inconvenience.

Schools must log in to the Pariksha Sangam portal using their credentials to access the CWSN portal. This section displays:

  • A list of registered CWSN students as entered in the List of Candidates (LOC) data.
  • The facilities and exemptions permissible for each category of disability, as defined by CBSE guidelines.

Once a school identifies a student’s desired accommodations, the selected facilities will appear on the student’s admit card. This ensures that examination centers can prepare necessary arrangements in advance.

How to Apply for Facilities

Schools are responsible for completing the application process on behalf of CWSN students who wish to avail of these accommodations. Here’s how the process works:

  1. Schools must log in to the CWSN portal available on the Pariksha Sangam website.
  2. Review the list of CWSN students and the applicable facilities for each.
  3. Select the facilities required for each student.
  4. Upload the necessary supporting documents on the portal.

Important Dates

The portal will be active from December 18, 2024, to December 28, 2024. All schools must adhere strictly to this timeline, as CBSE will not entertain any late or offline requests.

Additional Guidelines

  • Any requests previously sent to CBSE through offline or other modes must be re-uploaded on the portal during the designated timeframe.
  • CBSE will not process applications after December 28, 2024, or via offline modes, regardless of prior submissions.
  • Schools are urged to ensure that all details are submitted within the given schedule to avoid inconvenience to students.

Key Reminders for Schools

CBSE has emphasized that the schedule will not be extended under any circumstances. Schools must take proactive measures to complete the process before the deadline. By doing so, they ensure that CWSN students receive the support they need for a fair examination experience.

This initiative highlights CBSE’s commitment to inclusivity and accessibility, providing every student the opportunity to excel in their academic journey.
