Chappell Roan Photographer controversy: Chappell Roan got into a fight with a photographer on the red carpet during her performance at the VMAs last month. Roan challenged a nasty photographer at a Grammys celebration on Friday, October 25, while she was walking the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of Olivia Rodrigo’s Guts World Tour movie.
“You yelled at me at the Grammy party,” Roan is heard saying in the video. Yes, I do recall. You treated me so badly. And I deserve an apology for that. You must express regret to me. After that, the 26-year-old was taken off.
Roan opened for Rodrigo on the Guts Tour, and the two work together with producer Dan Nigro. Roan provided backing vocals for Rodrigo’s tracks “Lacy” and “Obsessed,” and the two performed together on Roan’s “Hot To Go!” in Los Angeles in August.
Roan withdrew from the All Things Go festivals last month, citing her mental health, following criticism for not supporting a presidential contender.
