CM Kejriwal: ‘Deshbhakti’ curriculum to be rolled out in govt schools from Sep 27

As a tribute to freedom fighter Bhagat Singh, chief minister Kejriwal stated on Independence Day 2021 that the ‘Deshbhakti’ curriculum will be implemented in government schools starting September 27.

NEW DELHI: As a tribute to freedom fighter Bhagat Singh, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Sunday that the ‘Deshbhakti’ curriculum will be implemented in government schools beginning September 27. On Independence Day, the chief minister raised the national flag at the Delhi Secretariat.

He also stated that yoga lessons will begin on October 2 in Delhi’s halls and parks. “Yoga was born in Delhi and spread around the world, but it is now on the verge of extinction.” Apart from the annual International Yoga Day celebrations on June 21, there isn’t much going on in the world of yoga. We’ll begin yoga courses soon, and we’re putting together a large staff of yoga teachers and instructors.

“If a group of 30-40 individuals wants to practise yoga, they can come to us and we’ll supply yoga instructors,” Kejriwal stated. The Deshbhakti curriculum will be implemented in government schools starting September 27, according to the chief minister, with the goal of instilling a sense of pride in every child and preparing them to give their all for the country.
