NEW DELHI: GATE registration for 2022 will begin today, August 30, at gate.iitkgp.ac.in, at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur. All interested and qualified students will have till September 24 to complete the GATE 2022 application form. Candidates who fail to register by the deadline will be allowed to fill out the GATE form 2022 till October 1 for a late cost of Rs 500. The GATE Online Application Processing System will be used to complete GATE registration in 2022. (GOAPS).

Procedure to fill GATE application form 2022
Candidates must register for GATE 2022 by providing their name, nationality, email address, cellphone number, and setting a password. After the information is input, an OTP will be issued to the candidates’ registered email and cellphone number, which must be validated in order to complete the registration.
Candidates must connect to the GOAPS portal and fill in all of the essential details of the GATE application form, including the GATE paper, exam centres, and picture ID number information.
Candidates must provide scanned pictures of their photograph, signature, and other papers in the GATE 2022 application form in accordance with the authorities’ criteria.
Candidates must check and update the information they have given on the application form.
Fee payment- After that, the GATE 2022 application fee must be paid online.
Candidates must finally submit the form and grab a printout for future reference.
Candidates will have the opportunity to make adjustments to their already submitted application forms from November 1 to 12 once GATE registration 2022 is completed. The GATE 2022 test will be held on February 5, 6, 12, and 13. The GATE admit card for the year 2022 will be available on January 3rd.
