GATE 2025: New Two-Paper Combinations Announced for Graduate Aptitude Test

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025, organised by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, has introduced new two-paper combinations. This development allows candidates to enhance their test preparation by selecting an additional paper in line with their first choice.

What’s New?

Important Notes:

  1. Allowed Combinations: Candidates must choose their second paper from a predefined list provided on the official GATE 2025 website. No other combinations are permitted during the regular or extended registration periods.
  2. Language of Test Papers: All test papers will be in English.
  3. Exam Centre Allocation: The examination centre for the second test paper may differ but will be in the same city as the first paper due to logistical constraints.
  4. Fee Structure: Candidates adding a second paper during the extended registration period will incur a regular fee along with a penalty.
