Eligibility Criteria for IAF Agniveervayu Recruitment 2025

Age Limit

Marital Status

The recruitment is open only to unmarried individuals. Female candidates are required to commit to remaining unmarried and agree not to become pregnant during the four-year engagement period under the Agniveer scheme.

Educational Qualifications

For Science Stream Students

Candidates must fulfill one of the following criteria:

  • Class 12 Qualification: Must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination with Mathematics and Physics, achieving a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English.
  • Diploma in Engineering: Must have completed a three-year diploma in fields such as Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, Computer Science, Instrumentation Technology, or Information Technology, with at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English (in the diploma course or at the Intermediate/Matriculation level if English was not part of the diploma course).
  • Two-Year Vocational Course: Must have passed a two-year vocational course with non-vocational subjects Physics and Mathematics, securing at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English (in the vocational course or Intermediate/Matriculation if English was not part of the course).

For Non-Science Stream Students

Candidates from non-science streams must meet one of the following requirements:

  • Class 12 Qualification: Must have passed the Class 12 exam in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English.
  • Two-Year Vocational Course: Must have completed a two-year vocational course with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English (in the vocational course or at the Intermediate/Matriculation level if English was not part of the course).
