IIIT Surat Faculty Recruitment: The Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Surat has announced faculty openings in the Computer Science Engineering (CSE) and Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) departments. IIIT Surat is inviting applications from candidates with notable academic and research achievements to join its mission of advancing education and research in technology and science.
Faculty Positions and Eligibility Requirements
The institution is offering faculty roles at different levels with specific requirements:
- Associate Professor: 2 positions
- Assistant Professor Grade-I: 2 positions
- Assistant Professor Grade-II: 18 positions, with vacancies across CSE, ECE, and Applied Science & Humanities, including Physics and Mathematics.
Candidates are required to submit applications in the prescribed format, both online via Google Form and in hard copy. The printed application, along with necessary documents, should be sent via Speed Post, Courier, or Registered AD to IIIT Surat.
Salary and Benefits
Selected candidates will receive competitive pay in accordance with the 7th CPC guidelines, as well as allowances such as House Rent Allowance (HRA), Dearness Allowance (DA), and Transport Allowance (TA). The institute will also contribute to the National Pension Scheme (NPS) as per government regulations. Appointments will be probationary for the initial two years from the joining date.
Application Fees and Reservation
Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee:
- General Category: Rs 1,000
- SC, ST, and PwD Candidates (with at least 40% disability): Rs 500
Fees can be paid through UPI or NEFT to the designated bank account of IIIT Surat. Reservation policies will apply in accordance with government rules.
