NEW DELHI: Last year, the highest rank in the JEE Advanced for unreserved admission to a BTech in computer science engineering (CSE) at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay was 63. The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced is a test that is only available to IITs and the Indian Institute of Science in Bengaluru. Only candidates who score well in the preliminary stage, JEE Main, are eligible to write it.
The JEE Main 2021 examination was completed today, and registration for the JEE Advanced 2021 examination will commence on September 11, 2021. The JEE Main 2021 result is anticipated to be released by the National Testing Agency before registration begins.
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) offers counselling for all centrally-run technical schools and participating states once the test results are announced. The IITs close admissions in computer science at the levels shown below.
IIT Admissions: BTech Computer Science Engineering
Last year, the oldest IITs admitted students with the highest ranks to one of their most sought-after programmes, BTech in computer science engineering, according to statistics on the JoSAA website (CSE). The final cut-off rank for the unreserved category at IIT Delhi was 104, whereas it was 157 at IIT Madras. The following were the final rankings for BTech in CSE:
