Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualifications
- PhD with a first-class or equivalent in the preceding degree.
- Strong academic record throughout.
2. Experience
- Grade-I: Minimum 3 years of research/teaching/industrial experience (excluding experience during the PhD).
- Grade-II: Open to candidates with a PhD and less than 3 years of experience.
3. Other Requirements
- Ability to conduct original research.
- Strong communication skills.
- Commitment to undergraduate and postgraduate education.
4. Age Limit
- Preferably below 35 years, with relaxations as per Government norms.
Pay Structure and Benefits
Grade-I
- Pay Level 12: ₹1,01,500 to ₹1,67,400 (starting salary ₹1,01,500).
- Promotion to Pay Level 13A1: ₹1,31,400 to ₹2,04,700 after 3 years.
Grade-II
- Pay Level 10: ₹57,700 to ₹98,200 (starting salary ₹70,900).
- Promotion to Pay Level 11 after 1 year.
Additional Benefits
- Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA), LTC, and NPS contributions.
- Professional Advancement Support:
- Relocation allowances.
- “Young Faculty Incentive Fellowship” for three years or until promotion.
- Research grants up to ₹50 lakhs.
- ₹3 lakhs Professional Development Allowance over three years.
- Rental accommodation support up to ₹50,000 per month for initial faculty.
