Important Exam Day Guidelines for CLAT 2025

CLAT 2025 Exam Day Guidelines: The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025, organized by the Consortium of National Law Universities, is scheduled to be held tomorrow, December 1, 2024. Candidates appearing for the exam must adhere to specific guidelines to ensure a smooth examination process.

Entry and Seating Guidelines

  • Entry Timing: Candidates are allowed to enter the test center premises starting at 1:00 PM.
  • Seating: Candidates must be seated in their designated hall/classroom by 1:30 PM.
  • Late Entry: Entry to the test hall/classroom is not permitted after 2:15 PM.
  • Exit Timing: Candidates cannot leave the hall/classroom before 4:00 PM.

Exam Timings

  • Regular Candidates: The test duration is 2 hours, commencing at 2:00 PM and concluding at 4:00 PM.
  • PwD/SAP Candidates: The test duration is extended to 2 hours and 40 minutes, ending at 4:40 PM.

Important Documents to Carry

Candidates must bring the following documents to the test center:

  1. Admit Card
    • Ensure the admit card is duly signed by the invigilator, as it will be required during the admission process.
    • If the photograph on the admit card is unclear, bring a self-attested photograph for verification.
  2. Government-Issued Photo ID
    • A valid, original Photo ID is mandatory for identity verification.

Items Allowed Inside the Test Center

Applicants are permitted to carry the following items into the exam hall:

  • Black or Blue Ball Point Pens
  • Transparent Water Bottle
  • Analogue Watch
  • Government-Issued ID Proof

Prohibited Items

  • Bags or any other personal belongings are not allowed inside the test center premises.
