The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF) has announced its recruitment drive for 526 vacancies across Sub-Inspector (SI), Head Constable, and Constable roles in the Telecommunication department. This recruitment is open to both male and female candidates on a temporary basis.

Post-Wise and Gender-Wise Breakdown
- Sub-Inspector (Telecommunication): 92 posts (78 male, 14 female)
- Head Constable (Telecommunication): 383 posts (325 male, 58 female)
- Constable (Telecommunication): 51 posts (44 male, 7 female)
Reservation for Ex-Servicemen (ESM):
A 10% reservation is available for ex-servicemen. If these positions are not filled, they will be allocated to non-ESM candidates.
Eligibility Criteria
Age Requirements:
- Sub-Inspector: 20 to 25 years as of December 14, 2024
- Head Constable: 18 to 25 years
- Constable: 18 to 23 years
Educational Qualifications:

Additional Marks for Qualifications
Candidates with specific qualifications in telecommunications and electronics will be awarded extra marks:
- 5 marks for degree holders
- 3 marks for diploma certificate holders
- 2 marks for ITI certificate holders
Salary Structure
- Sub-Inspector: ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400 (Level 6)
- Head Constable: ₹25,500 to ₹81,100 (Level 4)
- Constable: ₹21,700 to ₹69,100 (Level 3)

- Head Constable and Constable: ₹100
Women candidates, ex-servicemen, and those belonging to SC/ST categories are exempted from the application fee.
