NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) began JEE Main 2021 shift 1 on August 31. The JEE Mains 2021 shift 1 exam will be held for three hours on August 31. The JEE Main 2021 August exam is being held in 334 locations throughout the country. All COVID-19 guidelines were followed at the JEE Main exam centre before the start of the exam, as given by the NTA.
The Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2021 is a computer-based test that will be conducted online. While taking the entrance exam, students must adhere to the JEE Main dress code. Students needed to bring their IIT JEE hall ticket, as well as a self-declaration form and a government ID, to sit for the JEE Main 2021 test.

- Transparent ball-point pen
- An extra photograph of the candidate

JEE Main 2021: Important guidelines
Along with the JEE Main 2021 admit card, the authorities also published some instructions that students must follow at the exam centre.
- Students should arrive at the JEE Main exam centre on time.
- Candidates are not permitted to bring any electronic devices inside the test room.
- Before leaving the exam hall, remember to place your JEE Main admit card and self-declaration in the dropbox.
- At the JEE Main 2021 exam centre, all social distance standards must be respected at all times.
The JEE Main 2021 exam is conducted by NTA in two shifts each day. Shift 2 of the JEE Main 2021 exam runs from 3 to 6 p.m. The exam dates for JEE Main session 4 in 2021 are August 26, 27, 31, and September 1 and 2.
