JKBoSE Class 11 Results 2021: The JKBoSE Class 11 examinations 2021 were supposed to be held today, September 23, but the board declared a mass promotion to preserve the students’ academic year.

NEW DELHI: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBoSE) has announced a mass promotion of Class 11 students from Kashmir division/ winter zone regions of Jammu division (Private/Bi-Annuals 2021). 

Based on the previous year’s results, JKBoSE Class 11 students will be promoted to Class 12. The examinations for Class 11 were set to begin today, September 23, 2021.

“The decision has been taken due to a lack of time left for conducting impending yearly examinations in Kashmir division, winter zone regions of Jammu division,” according to the official notification. 

If they are admitted to a school and maintain a minimum of 66 percent attendance in offline or online lessons offered during the current academic session, JBOSE Class 11 pupils who are promoted will be entitled to sit for Class 12 board examinations. 

Students who applied for special subjects, supplementary subjects, and other categories in the Class 11 examinations will be promoted as a one-time exemption. 

They must, however, have passed the main exams in all obligatory courses. “The promotion of candidates must be subject to the condition that if any candidate/s is discovered to be ineligible to compete in the 2020-21 examination, the board shall have the authority to withdraw their promotion without prior notice,” according to the notification. 

The bi-annual board examination for Class 12 students in the winter zone of Jammu began on September 13, with all students and invigilators being subjected to a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) before being permitted access into the test centres.
