Those interested in applying for the Karnataka PGCET 2021 must complete and submit their applications by September 17, 2021. (5:30 pm).
Candidates are encouraged to read the qualifying requirements carefully before filling out the Karnataka PGCET 2021 application form.
On September 22 and 23, an admission exam will be held.
The merit or rank list will be created and published on the official website based on the candidates’ performance in the PGCET 2021. “All eligible candidates who have received the required percentage of marks as the case may be will be allowed to participate in the document verification process and then the online seat allotment process in the order of their merit/rank, as per the time schedule which will be notified later,” according to the Karnataka PCET 2021 official information bulletin.
There will be no negative marking for incorrect responses in the PGCET 2021 test, however, no marks will be granted if a candidate marks more than one answer suggested against a question on the OMR answer sheet.
The PGCET 2021 answer key will be available on the KEA official website within three days of the admission exam’s conclusion. Candidates can register their complaints to any of the published answer keys, together with all supporting papers, within three days.
“Unjustified objections made by candidates will not be taken into account. Objections filed after the deadline will not be taken into consideration. The KEA will forward any objections submitted to an Expert Committee, whose judgement will be definitive in this matter,” the KEA stated.
Only the marks achieved in the PGCET 2021 will be used to compile the merit lists for MBA, MCA, ME, MTech, and MArch. The marks obtained in the qualifying (Class 12) examination will not be used. Only the grades from Class 12 are used to determine eligibility.
Only applicants who have received the required percentage of marks in Class 12 should attend counselling. Candidates must have received at least 50% of the required aggregate minimum marks in all subjects for all years of the degree examination. In the case of SC, ST, and Category-I students, 45 percent of aggregate marks in all subjects for all years of the degree examination are necessary.
Only Karnataka-born applicants would be able to apply for reservations.
