Practical Examinations to Begin in January
The practical examinations will be conducted by respective institutions from January 2 to January 31. Schools must obtain prior approval from the council for their schedules. Upon completion of the practical exams, schools are required to upload project artefacts and other related documents to the council’s portal by January 31. The final submission deadline for students’ documents has been set for February 3.
To ensure proper coordination, the council has advised institutions to strictly adhere to the provided guidelines.
Theory Exam Schedule and Format
The theory exams will take place in the morning session, beginning at 10 AM and concluding at 1 PM. The duration of the exams will vary based on the total marks for each paper:
- Exams carrying 100 or 70 marks will have a duration of three hours.
- Exams with 30 or 40 marks will be conducted over two hours.
The council has also outlined arrangements for subjects with fewer than 10 candidates in any institution. In such cases, students will be attached to other institutions as determined by COHSEM.
Digital Submission of Practical Marks
Institutions are required to digitize and upload practical examination marks to the council’s website. The window for uploading these marks will be open from January 3 to January 31. This digital process aims to streamline record-keeping and ensure transparency in the assessment process.
