For non-professional courses and admission to Arts, Science, and Commerce colleges, the state government has determined that there would be no Common Entrance Test (CET). The admissions process will be based on the results of the 12th grade.
“There have been pleas from a number of quarters not to have CETs for non-professional degrees,” Mr Samant recently stated. “After a thorough discussion with all the universities, it has been agreed that admission to Arts, Commerce, and Science programmes will be based on Class 12 exams.”
