MHT CET 2021 result tie-breaking policy: The Maharashtra State CET Cell will publish the MHT CET 2021 result on its official website, cetcell.mahacet.org.
On or before October 28, the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell will release the MHT CET result 2021 online. Candidates will be able to check their MHT CET 2021 results using their MHT CET login ID and password.
In the MHT CET 2021 exam, there’s a chance that two or more candidates will get the same score. As a result, students are perplexed about their examination rankings. The authorities have devised a tie-breaking rule to address this issue. Details such as the candidate’s name, photograph and signature, the name of the candidate’s parents, roll number, application number, subject-wise percentile mark, total percentile score, and so on will be included in the MHT CET result.
MHT CET 2021 Result: tie-breaking policy
- If a tie happens, higher marks in Maths in the MHT CET 2021 exam will be considered.
- If a tie still persists, higher marks in physics will be taken into consideration.
- If a tie still continues, higher marks in chemistry will be taken into account.
- If still a tie persists, A higher percentage of marks in board or qualifying exam for physics, maths and chemistry will be considered together.
- If a tie still persists, a higher percentage of marks in mathematics at HSC will be considered.
- If a tie still continues, a higher percentage of marks in physics at HSC will be taken into consideration.
- If still a tie persists, a higher percentage of marks in aggregate at HSC will be taken into account.
On October 11, the authorities released the provisional MHT CET 2021 answer keys. Candidates had until October 13 to submit challenges or objections to the preliminary answer key. On or before October 28, the final answer key will be released along with the MHT CET 2021 results.
