Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Level: Students enrolled in Class 11 and 12, undergraduate, postgraduate, MPhil, Ph.D., or professional courses (e.g., Medical, Engineering, Nursing, Pharmacy, LLB, Management, BCom, MCom, BA, BSc).
  • Category: Applicants must belong to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), or Other Backward Classes (OBC) categories, verified by a valid caste certificate.
  • Residency: Must be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh, with a valid domicile certificate.
  • Income Limit:
    • SC/ST Students: Annual family income must be below ₹6 lakh. For incomes between ₹5 lakh and ₹6 lakh, students receive 50% of the scholarship amount.
    • OBC Students: Annual family income must be below ₹3 lakh.

At present, the working style and process of the department are being operated in a traditional offline manner.

To bring transparency in the operation of the schemes, the entire schemes and processes of the department must be computerized and made online.

So that the benefits of the schemes reach the people in less time and quality work can be done for monitoring the schemes etc.

For the fulfillment of this objective, the computerization project of schemes and processes of the Tribal Affairs and Scheduled Castes Welfare Department has been started by the department, which is known as MPTAASC for short.

The main components of the project are software development and hardware installation. The project is being implemented in different phases as follows –

  • Preparation of To-Be, FRS, and SRS for computerization of schemes and processes – To-Be, FRS, and SRS documents PMU team for computerization of all schemes, related modules, and processes under Tribal Affairs and Scheduled Castes Welfare Department and Scheduled Castes Welfare Department (5 members) who have been selected through NICSI.
  • Making the entire process online under the schemes and procedures – Based on To-Be, FRS, and SRS documents, an online application (software) of all the schemes, related modules and processes is being created by PIU (MAPIT).
  • Integration with successful and useful applications (software) of other departments like UIDAI, E-District, Samagra, SRDH, NPCI, Board of Secondary Education, IFMIS, HRMIS, CCTNS, etc., for ease of planning, related modules, and processes. done/being done
  • A total of 18 modules are to be developed under MPTAASC. Beneficiaries of almost all departmental schemes under MPTAASC will be easily transferred to their bank account only after registering their profile with Aadhar-based DBT, as well as the schemes in which it is necessary to apply, through the internet without coming to the office. Scheme Details:

The main objective of this scheme is to provide housing assistance to tribal boys and girls who are getting college and higher-level education outside their home residence and who have not been admission to any government hostel.

Students of the entire Madhya Pradesh can use this housing scheme.

Eligibility Criteria

  • This scheme is for scheduled tribe students.
  • The applicant must be a permanent citizen of Madhya Pradesh.
  • Such students, who are regularly admitted in government and recognized non-government colleges/universities / other institutions, after passing class 12th, in graduate / post-graduate / supported high-level courses and who have not got admission in any government hostel, such government hostel will be eligible.
  • The eligibility for housing assistance to the student will be based on the headquarter of the rental residence and not on the basis of the headquarter of the institution of study.
  • Rs.2000/- in Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur, and Ujjain Divisional Headquarters, Rs.1250/- in other District Headquarters, and Rs.1000/- per student per month in Tehsil/Development Block Headquarters. Will be

  • The admission of judges is confirmed by the Nodal College/Admission Institution.

  • After the verification of the information, the district authority approves the application.
  • The incentive amount is paid in Aadhaar linked bank account.
  • The status of the application is sent to the beneficiary on the registered email and SMS.

Note: The present MPTASS portal is for scheduled students admitted in 2018-19 with the facility to apply for housing assistance.

Here the monthly rent amount to be paid and the estimated total rent amount to be paid subject to verification received by the system based on the date of admission entered by you and the start date of rental is shown.
