NEET will be utilised for BSc Nursing and BSc Life Sciences starting this year. Cut-offs for MBBS programmes, both under the All India Quota (AIQ) and the State Quota, are often quite high, with only a tiny proportion of candidates being accepted. Around 15 lakh students take the medical test each year, and many of them enrol in these additional programmes.

AYUSH Admission Through NEET
The AYUSH Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC), which is part of the Ministry of AYUSH, provides counselling for BAMS, BSMS, BUMS, and BHMS seats under the AIQ, just as the MCC. Seats in government, government-aided, deemed institutions, central universities, national institutes, and internal seats of Delhi University were among those available last year.

NEET UG 2021: BSc Nursing, BSc Life Sciences
NEET will be used to give admission to BSc Nursing and BSc Life Sciences starting this year. The NTA has issued a notice outlining the requirements for admission to these courses.
Banaras Hindu University, JIPMER, and other institutions have also sent notices stating that there would be no separate entrance test for BSc Nursing admission this year, and that admission will be based on the NEET 2021 result.
NEET 2021: MBBS And BDS Admission
The NTA’s role in NEET concludes with the announcement of results and the release of the merit list and cut-offs. NEET counselling for MBBS and BDS courses begins after the results are released. In India, medical seats are split 15:85 between AIQ and state quotas.
For the remaining 85% of seats, states perform their own counselling based on their own eligibility and reservation policies. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is in charge of counselling for centrally financed institutions and seats at state-run institutions that have been ceded as part of the 15% all-India quota.
The AIQ counselling for NEET 2021 will be held at mcc.nic.in.
NEET 2021: BVSc, AH Admission
The Veterinary Council of India will offer counselling for admission to BVSc and AH programmes under 15% AIQ seats after the NEET 2021 outcome (VCI).
Last year, applicants were assigned seats based on their NEET score, preference, availability, reservation policy, and other factors.
All Veterinary colleges in India, with the exception of those in Jammu and Kashmir, used AIQ to select applicants for admission to these programmes. VCI Counseling’s official website is vcicounseling.nic.in.
