NEW DELHI: On September 12, 2021, from 2 to 5 p.m., the National Testing Agency (NTA) will hold the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG). NTA’s NEET 2021 rules must be followed by over 16 lakh students who will be taking the undergraduate medical exam. In the information bulletin, the examination authority has given the important rules for the NEET 2021 dress code. Aspirants must follow the dress code, which is different for boys and girls. NEET 2021 dress code for male aspirants

- Only half-sleeved tops or T-shirts are permitted for male applicants.
- Boys can wear light clothing with few or no zips, pockets, large buttons, and embroidery.
- Trousers or basic pants might be worn on the lower half.
- In the NEET 2021 exam hall, candidates can only wear sandals and chappals. Shoes are not permitted inside the NEET-UG test hall.
NEET dress code for female candidates
The clothing items allowed in the NEET UG 2021 dress code for ladies are listed below.
- On exam day, female candidates can only wear half-sleeved tops, shirts, or T-shirts.
- According to the NEET 2021 dress code, short heels, sandals, or chappals are permitted.
- Inside the exam hall, no clothing with intricate needlework, flowers, brooches, or other embellishments is permitted.
- Jeans should be avoided by female aspirants.
- Female NEET applicants shall not wear any jewellery such as earrings, nose rings, pendants, necklace bracelets, or anklets.
NEET 2021 dress code for cultural/customary dresses
Candidates who follow a particular tradition or religion are permitted to wear cultural attire in the exam venue, according to the NEET-UG dress code rules 2021. Aspirants in this situation should have indicated it when filling out the NEET application form. Students must arrive at least an hour before the exam’s final reporting time, which is 12.30 p.m., to ensure appropriate frisking.
What not to carry at the NEET 2021 exam centre
The things listed below are strictly forbidden in the NEET 2021 examination hall:
- Paper scraps, a Geometry/Pencil Box, a Plastic Pouch, a Calculator, a Pen, a Scale, a Writing Pad, and other textual items
- Mobile phones, calculators, Bluetooth, earbuds, microphones, pagers, and fitness bands are examples of devices.
- Wallets, goggles, handbags, belts, caps, watches/wristwatches, bracelets, cameras, metallic decorations, and other things
- Food that has been opened or packaged, as well as water bottles.
- Any other material that may be utilised in an unethical manner is likewise banned.
The NTA will issue the preliminary NEET admit card release date on September 9, 2021, via neet.nta.nic.in, according to the latest NEET news. Admission to undergraduate medical, dentistry, AYUSH, veterinary, and BSc nursing programmes will be determined by a single medical exam conducted in 13 languages.
