“The petitioners were surprised to see the scheme of the NEET-SS exams in Part 4 have undergone a complete change without any sort of advance notice, with only two months left for the exam, while the petitioners have been preparing in terms of the extant pattern/scheme of the exam, having absolutely no reason to believe that any such drastic change will be made so close to the specie,” the petitioners wrote.
It stated that the petitioners, who have had the “most challenging experiences” of their professional lives while at the forefront of the fight against COVID-19, have spent this time legitimately preparing for the NEET-SS 2021 exam, expecting the pattern to remain the same as it was the previous three years.
“Apart from that, in light of such a hasty and last-minute decision to change the exam pattern, aspirants who have only recently completed their postgraduate (PG) would have an advantage over aspirants who have completed their PG some time ago and are working in units dedicated to super speciality with the goal of acquiring fundamental and practical knowledge in the field,” the plea stated.
