Check out the list of India’s top 10 engineering institutions, other than IITs, according to the NIRF rankings for 2021.
NEW DELHI: The National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) of the Ministry of Education (MoE) revealed the India rankings for all colleges via a virtual event at noon on Thursday. This year, the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, was ranked 9th, while the National Institute of Technology, Karnataka, was ranked 10th with a 64.19 score, displacing IIT Indore from the previous year.
According to the current NIRF rankings, the Indian Institutes of Technology have maintained their top positions for another year, with IITs accounting for eight of the top ten institutions. For the sixth year in a row, IIT Madras has taken first place in both the overall and engineering categories. However, according to the NIRF rankings 2021, there are other institutions besides IITs that have won the top ranks in the engineering category. Other than IITs, this is a list of the finest engineering institutions in India.

The rankings were also revealed for eight additional categories, including a new category for research institutes this year. On the official website, you may see rankings for pharma, medical, management, colleges, and other areas.
