NITI Aayog Internship 2025: The NITI Aayog Internship Programme provides students and researchers with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in policy formulation and governance. Open to both Indian and international students, this internship is ideal for those pursuing studies in economics, public policy, finance, engineering, law, and other relevant fields.
Applications for the internship can be submitted online through the official NITI Aayog website. Candidates must apply between the 1st and 10th of each month, and applications are accepted up to six months in advance, but no later than two months before the desired internship period. For instance, if an applicant wants to begin their internship in April, they must apply between October and February.
This unpaid internship lasts between six weeks and six months. Interns must maintain at least 75% attendance to receive an experience certificate upon completion.

- Research students should have secured at least 70% in their undergraduate degree.
Internship Logistics and Support
Interns are required to bring their own laptops for the duration of the internship. However, NITI Aayog will provide:
- Workspace
- Internet access
- Other essential resources, as per departmental requirements.
Selected interns will work under the guidance of advisers and policy experts, gaining practical exposure to various government initiatives and research projects.
