About National Aptitude Test NAT 2021

NTA is convinced that the right candidates attending the best schools will provide India with a demographic dividend. It is intended that, in addition to previously acquired knowledge and skills, it should include future skills that would be expected of them, say after 5 years. Technical skills, creativity, emotional intelligence (EQ), analytic thinking, growth mindset, decision making, inter-personal communication, and adaptability have all been identified as future skills. As a result, the National Testing Agency (NTA) intends to conduct the National Aptitude Test-Ability Profiler.

One of the most difficult tests is the aptitude test. Aptitude is concealed. The purpose of the test is to diagnose and forecast. Any test that is not standardised or that has not undergone a pilot study cannot be used for large-scale administration or prediction. The following are some of the concerns that have surfaced as a result of various studies:

  • 65% of the jobs our students will be doing in the future do not even exist today.
  • Employers seek abilities like critical thinking, problem solving, innovations and creativity in their human capital but these abilities were deficient in about 70% school pass-outs.
  • Considering skills gap is much evident, including in digital jobs that require graduates with relevant mathematical, science, and engineering Backgrounds.
