How to Apply for the PM Internship Scheme
To apply for internship positions under the PM Internship Scheme, follow these steps:
- Visit the Official Portal: Go to pminternship.mca.gov.in.
- Register: Click on the “Register” link and enter the required details.
- Create Your Resume: After registration, the system will generate a resume based on the information you provided.
- Choose Internships: Apply for up to five internship roles, specifying your preferred location, sector, and qualifications.
- Submit Your Application: After selecting your preferences, submit your application and download the confirmation page for future reference.
Stipend Details
Interns selected under this scheme will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 5,000 during the internship period. The stipend is funded by both the government and the host company, with Rs 500 provided by the host company’s CSR funds and Rs 4,500 covered by the government. The scheme also follows reservation policies to ensure opportunities for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC).
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the PM Internship Scheme 2024, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Age: Between 21 and 24 years old
- Education: Completion of High School or Higher Secondary School
- Qualifications: ITI certificate, diploma from a Polytechnic Institute, or a degree in fields such as BA, BSc, BCom, BCA, BBA, or B Pharma

The PM Internship Scheme 2024 offers 80,000 internship positions across 24 sectors. Leading companies participating in the program include Mahindra & Mahindra, L&T, Tata Group, and Jubilant FoodWorks, providing interns with diverse and valuable work experiences.
