Salaar trailer 2: Hombale Films released the highly awaited trailer for Prabhas’ upcoming Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire on Monday. The main characters of the Prasanth Neel-directed film, Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, are two childhood friends.

The teaser immerses viewers in the story of two friends who become rivals. In addition, it features a grim, dystopian theme, violence all around, and a depressing atmosphere. The fictional town of Khansaar, ruled by Prithviraj’s character Sultan, is the subject of the teaser. The mechanic Salaar (Prabhas), who is always at his disposal to carry out his instructions, even slicing through his adversaries when necessary, is his friend. Although their bond is stronger than any other, by the end of the trailer, we realize that this won’t always be the case.

The Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire also signifies Prabhas, of Baahubali fame, and KGF director Prashanth Neel’s first significant working partnership. In important roles are also played by Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Tinu Anand, Eshwari Rao, Jagapathi Babu, Sriya Reddy, Garuda Ram, and others.
The film’s soundtrack was composed by Ravi Basrur, while Anbarivu is credited with the stunts. With a runtime of two hours and fifty-five minutes, Salaar is billed as a massive action-packed film spectacle.
Salaar was awarded an A grade by the censor board. Vijay Kiragandur produces it under the banner of Hombale Films. It will premiere in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi on December 22, one day after Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki. Rajkumar Hirani’s film Dunki is slated to compete head-to-head at the box office with Prabhas’s film. Salaar is leading in advance bookings by a narrow margin, according to the most recent reports. There will likely be a huge opening day.

Talking about the film, Prabhas previously said in a statement, “Salaar will explore the deep emotions between the lead characters. The audience has never seen me play such a character. I am excited for them to see me on-screen in a new light.” Prabhas who underwent prep work at workshops for the film, also said, “Me and Prashanth would talk about the body language that suits my character. He took my suggestions into consideration too. We would have a chat before any important scene. Our workshops were fun.”
