Due to COVID-19, the exam was rescheduled twice. In a tweet, Congressman Shashi Tharoor stated that several students had complained to him about a last-minute exam centre change that had caused them trouble.

When asked about it, Professor Pawanindra Lal, Executive Director of the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), said that due to security concerns, two centres in Sonipat and Panipat were changed on September 8 and 9, respectively, and candidates were relocated to new centres in Delhi.

“Over a hundred NEET-PG, 2021, applicants have written to me since the government doesn’t reply!” Tharoor said on Twitter, tagging screenshots of a message concerning a change in test centre. “They are in a panic since the exam is tomorrow. The most recent complication: many students were notified of a change of centre at the last minute (one day before the exam); many did not receive admission cards “In a tweet, he stated.

“Every care was taken to tell each and every applicant individually by phone calls, emails, and SMS to ensure they download and print the revised admit card with updated centres and are able to get at the site on time,” Professor Lal added.

The NEET-PG was originally planned for January 10, but due to the COVID-19 issue, it was delayed until April 18. On the directives of the PMO, it was rescheduled due to the second Covid wave. The exam would be held after August 31st, according to those guidelines.

Then September 11 was designated as the earliest feasible date,” Professor Lal stated. According to him, 1,66,259 applicants took the NEET-PG exam on Saturday, and all were given protective gear, including a face shield, mask, and hand sanitizer, to ensure the exam’s safety.

The Delhi-NCR area saw severe rains on the day of the examinations, causing flooding and traffic congestion in various sections of the city. On September 12, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) – Undergraduate, 2021 will be held.

NEET PG 2021 Exam Analysis
NEET PG 2021 Exam Analysis

The NEET PG exam was computer-based, and the NEET PG 2021 question paper had 200 multiple-choice questions.

The questions were taken from MBBS courses like as Pre-Clinical, Para-Clinical, and Clinical, according to the NEET PG review. NEET PG 2021 exam analysis has been provided by coaching institutes such as Aakash and Career Xpert.

The NEET PG 2021 difficulty level and essential topics may be found below.

  • The NEET PG 2021 question paper has 40% of questions from a variety of clinical themes, 20% image-based questions, and 40% one-liner factual questions.
  • There are no multiple right answers or questions that fit the following pattern.
  • The exam was simple in compared to the INI CET, even after the number of questions was reduced to 200.
  • Medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, PSM, pharmacology, and pathology were high yield subjects that made up the majority of the article.
  • In brief subjects, questions were scored and answered if the subject’s fundamental knowledge was acquired.
  • Many of the NEET PG 2021 questions were from predicted high-yield areas including optic pathway lesions (ophthalmology), leprosy, STD and immunobullous diseases (dermatology), vitamin deficiencies (biochemistry), and waste disposal (PSM).
  • Many students expected questions on Covid, according to the NEET PG exam review 2021, however not a single question relating to Covid was asked
  • Integrated questions from the first and second prof topics were quite simple. Many of these featured possibilities for giveaways.
  • Direct repetition questions accounted for fewer than 5% of the total.
  • Rather than focusing on uncommon diseases and complicated clinical scenario-based questions, students who were familiar with fundamental facts and could apply basic ideas were more likely to pass the exam.
  • Clinical situations were also simple — The clinical context was a big give away if the picture was difficult.
