Her family was poor and could not afford to send her to an English-medium school. Thus, she completed her 12th standard education in a Hindi-medium school. In the beginning, she had a lot of health issues and needed to see a doctor every 15 days.

Her college years were made more challenging by her struggles with her poor English. Despite all the odds, she did exceptionally well on her university exams during the first semester. Then, she wrote and passed each technical exam, as she revealed in a TEDX lecture.

She was chosen for BARC (Bhabha Atomic Research Center) at the age of twenty. One of the hardest interviews to pass is the BARC interview. She joined IES (Indian Engineering Services) at the age of 22 after receiving an All INDIA RANK 1 at the age of 21.

She passed the Civil Service Examinations at the age of 25 with an ALL INDIA RANK 50.

She believes in the words “There is no substitute for hard work and there is no shortcut to success”.

But the father of IAS Siddharth Shukla was never able to realize his dream of becoming an IAS because of family obligations and a lack of opportunities. Having no other choice, Siddharth’s father moved to Delhi with his family and started a journalism career.

We will discuss the remarkable journey of IAS Siddharth Shukla today to give UPSC IAS Motivation 2024, who overcame great adversity to realize his father’s dream of becoming an IAS officer. But Siddharth had to make four tries and it wasn’t easy for him to pass the UPSC.

How To Get UPSC IAS Motivation 2024?

Siddharth, a native of Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, went to school in Delhi following his father’s relocation. Siddharth, who excelled academically in school, went on to earn his degree in history. Being well aware of his father’s unfulfilled UPSC dream, Siddharth always wanted to fulfill his father’s dream rather than pursue his own. Not long after graduating, he started preparing for the UPSC.

In keeping with his preparation plan, he avoided using social media. He spoke with his friends on his mother’s phone. Social media, in his opinion, is a diversion.

He made every effort, but he failed miserably in the Mains on his first try. He passed both the Mains and the Prelims on his second try, but the Interview round eluded him. His third attempt met with a similar end.

Still, he persisted and had faith in his ability to succeed. In his fourth attempt, he achieved an impressive All India Rank (AIR)-27, demonstrating his perseverance, consistency, and determination.
