The criteria of a minimum of 45 percent in intermediate to be eligible for admission has been reduced this year by the TS EAMCET officials.
According to a Telangana Today article, the TS EAMCET officials have announced a modification of the criteria of a least 45 percent in intermediate to be eligible for admission. This exemption, however, will only apply to Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) admissions this year. The relaxation decision was made during a meeting held by the Higher Education Department in Hyderabad.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the requirement of 45 percent marks in intermediate has been relaxed. Candidates who have completed the intermediate test would be eligible for TS EAMCET 2021 admission, according to the report. Candidates must, however, get a score in the TS EAMCET 2021. Students will be relieved by this decision, as intermediate examinations were cancelled owing to the epidemic, and results were calculated using a normalisation approach.
This 45 percent mark relaxation in intermediate would also apply to Telangana Open School Society (TOSS) intermediate students, according to the report. “All students who passed intermediate and qualified in the TS EAMCET, in addition to obtaining a rank, will be eligible for admissions this year,” says the statement. According to the article, authorities added, “The government will make required orders in this respect.”
The engineering test for the TS EAMCET 2021 was held on August 4, 5, and 6, while the agriculture exam was held on August 9 and 10. The tentative TS EAMCET answer key 2021 has been issued, and candidates have until August 14 to file complaints (tomorrow). On August 25, the authorities will announce the TS EAMCET result 2021. The TS EAMCET 2021 counselling will begin on August 30. The Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University (JNTU), Hyderabad, conducts an online exam for admissions to undergraduate engineering degrees provided by participating state colleges for engineering and agriculture.
