TS LAWCET 2021 Begins; Know Exam Day Guidelines

TS LAWCET 2021: Today, August 23, the TS LAWCET 2021 for 3-year LLB will be held in morning and evening shifts. The test for 5-year LLB and LLM will be held in the morning shift tomorrow, August 24.

NEW DELHI: Today, August 23, Osmania University in Hyderabad will hold the state-level law entrance exam TS LAWCET for 3-year LLB. Tomorrow, August 24, will be the entrance exams for the 5-year LLB and LLM programmes. Both the TS LAWCET and the TS PGLCET will be held online in 21 test zones across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh in 2021.

All registered candidates have already received their TS LAWCET 2021 and PGLCET admit cards from the university. Using the registration ID, date of birth, and mobile number, the admit card could be downloaded.

The 3-year LLB TS LAWCET will be held in two shifts: morning and evening. The 5-year LLB TS LAWCET and TS PGLCET, on the other hand, will be held tomorrow in the morning shift.

Check Important guidelines for appearing in TS LAWCET 2021

Candidates who plan to take the TS LAWCET 2021 must adhere to the exam instructions listed on their admit cards. The following are some of the most important guidelines.

  1. To the designated examination centre, candidates must bring their TS LAWET/PGLCET admit card. Without an admit card, no candidate will be allowed to take the entrance exam.
  2. Candidates must also bring a valid photo ID card for verification purposes, in addition to the admit card.
  3. Candidates must wear a face mask and maintain social distance due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
  4. In both the TS LAWCET and the PGLCET, there will be multiple-choice questions with matching items.
  5. There will be one mark for each question. There are no points deducted for incorrect answers.
  6. Candidates should arrive at their designated exam centre at least one hour prior to the test’s start time. No candidate will be permitted to take the test after it has begun.
  7. Candidates will not be permitted to leave the examination room until the test has been completed.

Normalization process for 3-year LLB

Because the TS LAWCET for 3-year LLB is held in two sessions, each with the same syllabus and pattern, the university has implemented a normalisation process to eliminate any differences in the difficulty levels of the different sessions. The purpose of the normalisation process is to ensure that no student benefits or suffers disadvantage as a result of multiple sessions.

The mere fact that a candidate has taken the TS LAWCET/PGLCET 2021 does not guarantee admission to a law school. All admissions through the TS LAWCET and PGLCET are based on the merit cum preference criteria. Candidates must achieve the minimum qualifying marks set by the conducting body in order to be considered for admission.
