The UP NEET 2021 counselling session for MBBS/BDS admissions is conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Lucknow, also known as UPDGME. Candidates who meet the Uttar Pradesh MBBS/BDS residency requirements and have passed the National Eligibility Cumulation Entrance Test (NEET) are looking for UP MBBS counselling dates.
The online registration for UP MBBS BDS counselling 2021 will be available at dgme.up.in. After registering, aspirants must go through the document verification process in order to participate in the UP MBBS/BDS counselling process in 2021. UPDGME will admit 6,428 MBBS and 2,251 BDS seats to 32 medical and 23 dental colleges based on UP NEET 2021 counselling.
NEET UP domicile criteria 2021
Candidates are required to fulfill any of the following criteria to be eligible for the state quota in UP NEET admission:
- Aspirants should be a native of the state and their father is a resident of the state of Uttar Pradesh.
- The parent/s of candidates have lived in the state of UP for a minimum of 3 years.
- Candidates whose parent/s are working with the Government of India.
- Candidates who have passed class 10 and 12 from the state of UP, are not required to furnish a domicile certificate.
- If the candidates have passed either class 10 and 12 from the state of UP, they would be required to furnish UP residence proof of their parent/s.
During the UP NEET 2021 counselling process, candidates will be asked to fill out a list of colleges that they would like to attend. Aspirants can choose as many colleges as they want for the UP MBBS/BDS 2021 allotment process during the UP NEET choice filling process.
UP MBBS 2021 admission will be granted based on the candidate’s choices, seat availability, NEET 2021 All India Rank (AIR), reservation criteria, and various other factors.
