UPPSC PCS Prelims Exam 2021: Dos and Don’ts

The prelims exam for the Provincial Civil Service (PCS)/Upper Subordinate Services will be held on October 24, 2021, by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC). Candidates taking the UPPSC PCS prelims exam should be aware of the dos and don’ts in order to avoid getting into trouble while taking the exam. The exam reporting time, documents to bring, and what is prohibited inside the exam hall are all included in the UPPSC PCS dos and don’ts. Candidates who have downloaded the UPPSC PCS admit card 2021 are eligible to sit for the exam.

UPPSC PCS 2021 Do’s and Don’ts – What to do at UPPSC PCS exam centre?

  • Carry UPPSC PCS admit card along with one government issued valid ID proof namely Driving license, Passport, Voter ID, Aadhaar card, PAN card, etc.
  • Candidates are also advised to carry one recent passport size photograph along with the photo ID proof.
  • Candidates must carry a hand sanitiser, wear double mask, wear hand gloves, and carry a transparent water bottle at the exam centre to combat the spread of COVID-19.
  • Candidates must maintain social distancing at the exam centre.
  • Reach the exam centre at least 30-40 minutes before the reporting time.
  • By reaching early, they will avoid traffic congestion and find the exam centre easily. It will also help them get plenty of time to relax and stay focussed before the exam.
  • Aspirants must not panic before the exam, they must stay calm, focused and have a cool mind.
  • Support the UPPSC PCS exam centre staff in security checkups and form filling formalities.

What not to do at the UPPSC PCS exam centre?

  • Do not wear costly jewellery.
  • Don’t carry a smartphone, bluetooth earpiece, or smartwatch inside the exam hall.
  • Aspirants must not cheat, pass on notes, books or any other kind of literary items inside the UPPSC PCS exam centre.

The UPPSC PCS prelims exam is being held to fill 400 vacancies in administrative services, police services, fire, law, and revenue services, among other areas. There are 15 openings for Assistant Conservator of Forests (ACF)/Range Forest Officers (RFO).
