UPSC NDA Notification 2024: Applications are being accepted from students who wish to take the National Defense Academy and Naval Academy (I) Exam in 2024 through the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The official website, upsconline.nic.in, has the application form. They have until January 9, 2024, to fill it out. The candidate must first register on the Commission website using the One Time Registration (OTR) platform, and only then may they proceed to complete the online application for the test. For admission to the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 153rd Course and the 115th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC), which start on January 02, 2025, the commission is filling 400 vacancies.  They can review the notification PDF on upsc.nic.in and below for further information about NDA Recruitment 2024.

UPSC NDA 1 Vacancy 2024

UPSC NDA 1 Exam Date 2024

All applicants who successfully submit their applications will take the exam on April 21. The exam will be administered offline. Candidates are required to use only black ball pens for writing and marking answers on the OMR sheet (Answer Sheet). Any other color of pen is not allowed.

UPSC NDA 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

  • For admission to the Army Wing of the National Defence Academy, candidates are required to have completed the 12th grade under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or an equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or University.
  • For the Air Force and Naval Wings of the National Defence Academy, as well as for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy, candidates must have passed the 12th grade with Physics and Mathematics, following the 10+2 pattern of School Education or an equivalent qualification from a State Education Board or University.

Only unmarried male/female candidates born not earlier than 02nd July, 2005 and not later than 1st July, 2008 are eligible

UPSC NDA 2024 Selection Method

The candidates will be called for the written exam followed by the SSB Interview.

UPSC NDA Exam Pattern 2024

There will be 300 questions on Maths and 600 on General Ability Test. Each section will be given 2 hours and 30 minutes. There will be negative marking for wrong answers.

Online Question Paper Representation Portal (QPRep)

The candidates will have a period of seven days, starting on the day after the examination date and ending at six o’clock on the seventh, to present their arguments to the commission regarding the questions posed in the examination papers.  Only by visiting the URL upsconline/nic/in/miscellaneous/QPRep/ can one submit such a representation through the “Online Question Paper Representation Portal (QPRep)”.  The Commission will not correspond with the candidates in this regard, and no representations made by email, mail, hand, or in any other manner will be accepted.  After these seven days have passed, under no circumstances will any representations be accepted.

How to Apply for NDA Exam 2024: How to Submit Application?

The candidates can check the steps to apply for the exam below:

Step 1: Navigate to the UPSC Online website at upsconline.nic.in. The applicant must initiate the registration process on the One Time Registration (OTR) platform, conveniently accessible on the Commission’s website.

Step 2: Upon successful registration, the applicant must log in (using Email ID, Mobile Number, or OTR ID) to verify the previously registered OTR application.

Step 3: Access the Latest Notification tab within the OTR application.

Step 4: Apply for the desired examination.

Step 5: Complete the necessary details.

Step 6: Upload the required documents.

Step 7: Process the payment for the application fee.

UPSC NDA Interview 2024

Those who clear the written exam will be called for SSB Interview, The SSB procedure consists of two stages – stage I and stage II.

Stage I – Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) tests which includes Picture Perception/Description Test (PP&DT). The candidates will be shortlisted based on a combination of performance in the OIR Test and PP&DT.

Stage 2 – Comprises of Interviews, Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests and the Conference. These tests are conducted over 4 days. The details of these tests are given on the website joinindianarmy.nic.in.

UPSC NDA Admit Card 2024

The admit cards will be made available for download three weeks before the examination. Candidates are obligated to obtain their admit cards from the commission’s website.

UPSC NDA Result 2024

The commission will publish a selection list containing the roll numbers or names of successful candidates. The result will be declared in a month.
