10,07,645 out of 13,47,820 distinct candidates registered for the exam, which was held on July 19 and between May 15 and 29, applied specifically for the English subject. 8.22,518 of them took the test. With 3,47,736 registrations, Uttar Pradesh had the most among the states; Delhi came in second with 1.56 lakh applications.
The participating central, state, private, and deemed universities, together with other institutions, will use the results of the CUET UG 2024 exam to determine who gets admitted to undergraduate degree programs.
