Konda Polam Movie Download: Once again, Movierulz and Tamilrockers have outdone themselves! Konda Polam movie, starring Rakul Preet Singh, has been leaked online ahead of its official release date.
The multi-starrer Konda Polam is the most recent film to fall victim to the threat of film piracy.
The Hindi film features an unusual ensemble cast that includes some of Bollywood’s greatest celebrities. Several well-known actors, including Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, and Rajkummar Rao, have cooperated on this big production. Movierulz and Tamilrockers have purportedly leaked the film, which is set to be released today, just in time for Independence Day.

Telugu cinema is no stranger to coming-of-age or rural stories. The film, on the other hand, manages to keep you interested due to the way it all plays out.
Ravindranath aka Ravi (Vaisshnav Tej) is a young man who has been well-educated by his shepherd father in the hopes of landing a high-paying job in the city.
Ravi finds it difficult to crack the interview or group discussion round despite attending coaching sessions. Whether in a boardroom or at home in the village, where he’s constantly asked why he doesn’t have a job, his spine seems to be in a constant state of shivering.
Ravi is sent to the forest by his grandfather (Kota Srinivasa Rao) for konda polam, and if he is to survive, he must learn to let go of his fears. And, perhaps most importantly, if he is to keep the hundreds of goats who rely on him alive alive.
Krish does a fantastic job of setting the scene for the storey. They haven’t had much rain in years in the area where they live. Water is scarce not only for the humans, but also for the goats cared for by the shepherd community.
The shepherds refer to their herd as pranalu, and they appear to be as emotionally reliant on them as the voiceless creatures are.
However, the forest they live near is very generous. She provides them with food and even water when the time comes, as well as makeshift weapons made of rocks to protect them from human and animal predators.
When you throw a bunch of humans into the woods, there’s bound to be some conflict. They’re just not the type of ‘conflict’ you’d expect to see in a movie.
Apart from fighting for their lives when a tiger threatens them, the film also addresses the issue of deforestation. Apart from offering empathy, the tribal community living there has its own set of problems for which no one has a solution.
Ravi’s transformation from a man who shivers at the sight of a snake to a man who will stare a tiger down to protect his family transports you to another world. One that is as demanding as it is generous. Ravi Prakash gets a moving monologue that stays with you. Sai Chand makes your heart break when he cries for some rain.
Ravi’s reluctant partner-in-crime, Obu, is played by Rakul Preet Singh. Although the latter is well-educated, the former is the one who is familiar with the world in which he is currently living.
She is not only familiar with the herd, but also with the forest, and she has taken on the role of guru, teaching him the ropes. Even if it leaves you wanting more at times, the way Ravi and Obu’s love storey is woven into the larger storey is good.
MM Keeravani’s music, despite an oddly placed dance number, does a good job of expressing their love when they can’t. It also works the way they begin to comprehend each other’s world.
Despite having a compelling and unique storey, the film has some technical issues. While Keeravani’s music is delightful and contributes just as much to bringing Konda Polam to life as Krish’s direction, his BGM can be overwhelming in some scenes.
The music in the song Shwaasalo doesn’t even dip to allow you to hear the lines being spoken. In the scenes set at the UPSC office, Nasser’s dubbing appears to be off whenever he calls out Ravi’s name for some reason.
While the tiger (both literally and metaphorically) is almost as important to the storey as anything else, the CGI occasionally detracts from the film’s otherwise raw and natural texture. And the stakes don’t seem high enough sometimes when Ravi makes do with dialogues to save the day.
Vaisshnav does a good job of speaking with his eyes in a film where he doesn’t have lines in every scene. When he doesn’t speak, his fear, joy, anger, and dejection come across clearly.
He makes mistakes now and then, but for the most part, he does a good job. Rakul is a joy to watch as Obu, and the dubbing for her character is almost impeccably done, allowing her to blend seamlessly into the role.
She’s a bright spot in an otherwise drab film. The rest of the cast is also enjoyable, but the storey is the true star of this film.
Konda Polam may miss the mark from time to time, but it gets more things right than wrong. If you’ve been waiting for a unique storey to be told all along, give this one a chance this weekend. If you’re looking for some masala, this isn’t the film for you.
