Smite Gods Tier List: Our Smite Season 8 Tier List ranks the best Gods for Joust, Arena, and other modes in 2021 Season 8. With around 100 playable characters, finding the best Gods may seem difficult, but we’ve ranked them from S Tier to E Tier to make it easier for you. Smite Tier List is a free-to-play MOBA developed by Hi-Rez Studios and released in 2014. It’s notable for having combatants based on classic and mythical Gods, many of whom have been adapted from various faiths throughout history. 

The game has a ranked mode, similar to most MOBAs, with one unique map hosting the game’s most enduring battles. Season 8 of the game has seen a shift in the balance between items and the Gods, as has every season before it. Despite the constant shifting, some Gods are more powerful than others, and we hope to reflect any changes in our Smite tier list with each update. In the latest version of the list, we pick the strongest Gods for each role as of the 8.6 Bonus Update.

We feel bad for you if you’re getting into Smite. Do you even know what you’re getting yourself into? Smite is a challenging competitive game in the style of a MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battleground Arena). This style has been known for its addictive gameplay combined with an ocean’s worth of salt since the famous DOTA mod of Warcraft 3. The players are fiercely competitive, and you must be well-versed in order to survive in this jungle.

This is where the following list comes into play. We’ve ranked all of the characters for you, from best to worst, so you can see where you should focus your abilities. Some characters are overpowered by default (at least in the current version of the game). You had better do your homework if you want to win and climb the ranks of this difficult game (poor you).

Key Terms:

AA – Auto Attack.

Backline – The position the mid and ADC tend to stand to deal damage at a safe distance.

CC – Crows Control – stuns, slows, roots, snares etc.

Dive – Finding a way to get to the backline to threaten the enemy damage dealers.

Itemization – Associated with a God’s build path and build order.

Squishies – A term given to Gods who don’t have defensive itemization.

The gods who are…Gods in the game are found at the top. Putting the bad pun aside, these are the characters on whom the meta is currently focused. You’d have to be deafeningly deaf These Gods are favoured by the professionals, so choosing them gives you an advantage. Of course, you must meet a skill cap in order to play effectively with the majority of them.

Smite Tier List: A-Tier

No one is overpowered if all Gods are. This is how we justify the fact that A-Tier isn’t as powerful as S-Tier. Of course, they are some of the best characters you can choose, and if you devote enough time to mastering one of them, you will quickly rise through the ranks. Learning some gods from this Tier will be beneficial because they can surprise your opponents and create amazing synergies with your team.

Smite Tier List: B-Tier

One of our personal favourites, Hou Yi, is at the top of this list. To demonstrate our objectivity, we didn’t put him in the S-Tier (despite the fact that she deserves it) because he simply can’t compete up there. The B-Tier characters are slightly more powerful than the average God, but not by much. Top-ranked players still prefer them, so if you have enough skill, you can make them work; it just takes a little longer.

Choosing a team composed entirely of C-Tier gods isn’t quite insane, but it’s close. Many Gods can do what C-Tier Gods can do, but better, so picking only C-Tiers is pointless. One or two can get away with it, but more than that makes it seem like you don’t want to win.

Who is the strongest character in Smite?           

We have to give Set credit for being the most fearsome opponent, even though he isn’t our favourite God to grind the ranks with. That is to say, he is the most powerful God in Smite. If you look at his pick rate in the highest rankings, you can clearly see this. When playing against a skilled set, it appears that he has no solution with his seemingly endless clones. Tanks have no effect on him, and he can kill any carry or support in a matter of seconds. It’s a beast.
