Education Minister of Andhra Pradesh announces Class 10 results

Adimulapu Suresh, the Education Minister of Andhra Pradesh, has issued school-by-school results as well as a memorandum of students’ subject-by-subject performance in the Class 10 board exams.

Adimulapu Suresh, the Education Minister of Andhra Pradesh, has issued school-by-school results as well as a memorandum of students’ subject-by-subject performance in the Class 10 board exams. On the official website www.bse.ap.gov.in, students can verify their results. Furthermore, school principals can use their school login credentials to download the “memorandum of subject-wise performance” (marks list) and give over the attested copies to the pupils.

“Class 10 exams have been cancelled in the state for two consecutive years due to pandemics,” stated State Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh. To develop a method for declaring results, a high-powered team led by retired IAS official Chaya Ratan was formed. The committee also suggested that the pupils be given grade points.

The state has adopted those recommendations, and the results for the academic years 2020 and 2021 have been finalised and may be found at http://results.bse.ap.gov.in.

According to the minister, pupils’ performance in three formative assessments (FAs) worth 50 points each and one summative assessment (SA) worth 100 points that were done internally for class 10 students in AY 2019-20 are taken into account for the March 2020 test.

The sum of marks obtained in three FAs will be worth 50% of the total, while SA marks will be worth the remaining 50%.

For the AY 2020-21, two Formative Assessments worth 50 points each will be held in June 2021. The 20 marks of slip tests were given 70% of the weightage in each FA’s 50 marks, while the other three components of FAs were given 30% of the weightage, according to the minister.

Internal marks available against their first performance will be evaluated for unsuccessful candidates in 2017, 2018, and 2019. The education department also stated that because internal marks are available for 20 points, they will be multiplied by 5 to arrive at the marks out of 100.

Meanwhile, according to Mr Suresh, the schools will reopen on August 16 according to Covid’s usual operating practice. He went on to say that in today’s cabinet meeting, the mode of implementation of the NEP was thoroughly examined.
