At jeemain.nta.nic.in, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon announce the JEE Main 2022 exam date. The online exam for JEE Main 2022 will be held in four sessions: February, March, April, and May. By the end of November or early December 2021, the JEE Main 2022 application form for the February session should be available.
Candidates who want to take JEE Main 2022 must be aware of the exam’s eligibility requirements.

JEE Main 2022 eligibility criteria
Age limit– There is no age limit for JEE Main 2022. Candidates who have passed class 12 in 2020, 2021 or appearing in 2022 will be eligible.
Qualifying exam– Candidates should have passed class 12 or equivalent in 2020, 2021 or should be appearing in 2022.
Subjects in qualifying exam– Candidates should have the following subjects in the qualifying exam in order to be eligible for JEE Main 2022.
- BE/BTech: Candidates should have passed the qualifying exam with physics, mathematics, and chemistry/biology/biotechnology/technical vocational subject.
- BArch: Candidates should have passed the qualifying exam with mathematics, physics and chemistry.
- BPlan: Candidates should have passed the qualifying exam with mathematics.
Qualifying exam marks– For admission to NITs/IIITs/GFTIs, students must achieve a minimum of 75% in class 12. The required percentage for admission to BArch/BPlanning courses is 50%. This criterion has been relaxed in the last two years due to COVID-19.
This year, there is no update on any relaxation. It should be noted that candidates will have the option of participating in all four JEE Main 2022 sessions. The candidates’ All India ranks will be calculated based on their best score from all of their attempted sessions.
